According to a survey conducted in March 2022, around ** percent of respondents answered that they would accept the potential discomfort of adopting the proposed disposable cup deposit system in South Korea for the sake of bettering the environment. In the system, as the name suggests, consumers pay a small deposit when ordering a drink that would later be repaid in exchange for returning the used cup. Although the policy was proposed several times, multiple setbacks have delayed its implementation nationwide.
