An April 2023 conducted survey among Australian consumers revealed that around ** percent of respondents preferred to pick up food from a restaurant over getting it delivered, in order to get the food faster. Many of those surveyed also chose to pick up food due to lower fees and because they happened to be nearby the restaurant.Â
