Supplementary notes
The data is based on an online survey conducted by InvestHK with results finalized in September 2024. The survey was conducted in collaboration with a total of 56 operators of co-work spaces, incubators and accelerators.
Around 72 percent of startup founders who provided information about their origin were Hong Kong locals and one percent Hong Kong returnees, while 28 percent identified as non-locals.
Percentages may not total 100 due to rounding.
