That year, ** percent of bariatric surgeries were sleeve gastrectomies, followed by roughly ** percent of gastric bypasses. In 2006, the perigastric ring was the most common procedure. However, this practice lost its popularity in favor of bypass and, by 2011, sleeve gastrectomy.
