Most French consumers surveyed in November 2021 considered buying a used car in workshops affiliated with major car brands, or online through a major car brand's website specializing in used car sale. In contrast, consumer-to-consumer websites did not boast a similar popularity. Just over half of respondents reported being likely to turn to specialized and generalist platforms for resale between individuals.
