Apart from Generation X (born between 1965 and 1980), where TV series with *** to ** episodes per season were preferred, the other generations of TV viewers in the United States agreed on having ** to ** episodes per season as ideal, according to a survey conducted in November 2022. By contrast, a season with *** to **** episodes was the least favored length for millenials, Generation X, and baby boomers, whereas ** and more episodes were the least ideal choice within Generation Z (born between 1997 and 2012).
