In 2023, Georgia had the highest unemployment rate among the presented Eastern European and Central Asian countries, at nearly 11.6 percent. It was followed by Armenia, where approximately 8.6 percent of the total labor force were unemployed. By contrast, Moldova had the lowest unemployment rate in the region, at around two percent.
