The number of inbound visitors in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) was expected to grow by over ** percent in 2024 and by around ** percent in the following year. In 2022, a significantly higher growth rate was recorded in the subregion of Central and Baltic Europe, at more than ** percent. The growth rate was higher in that subregion because inbound travel to Eastern European countries Russia and Ukraine declined due to the war in Ukraine.
