A survey conducted in 2021, found that 72 percent of Americans who have earned money through online gig platforms in the 12 months prior to the survey found the way their jobs were assigned to be fair. Gig workers were less positive about the fairness of their benefits, with ** percent saying they felt online gig platforms had been unfair in this matter.
