According to a survey in 2022 among currently married women in the Philippines, about 20 percent stated that they preferred pills among other modern methods of contraception. The preference for pills slightly decreased in comparison to the 2017 survey. Meanwhile, the use of implants has increased in 2022 compared to 2017.
