A survey conducted during the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games concluded that synthetic ice skating was the most popular type of activity among Chinese internet users with winter sports experiences. Freestyle skiing, double-board skiing, and dry slope skiing were also prevalent, while few people had experiences in ski climbing or ski jumping, due to the challenging nature of the activities.
