* In 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018 there was no LWR survey conducted. For that time period the data comes from the Income and Expenditure Sample (EVS), in the all the other years the data was retrieved from the Current Economic Accounts (LWR). The data is not easily comparable with one another.
The source makes the following remark about LWR: 鈥淓quipment of private households excluding the self-employed and farmers as well as those with a monthly net income of over 18,000 euros.鈥
The source notes the following about the EVS: 鈥淧rivate households at the place of the main residence whose monthly net income is less than 18,000 euros. Generally, those without a permanent address (homeless people) as well as people living in communal accommodation and institutions are not included in the survey.鈥
The reporting date is January 1 of the respective year.
