The survey was conducted among:
45.8 percent female and 54.2 percent male;
28.6 percent between 20 and 25 years old, 18.3 percent between 26 and 30 years old, 41.9 percent between 31 and 35 years old, 5.7 percent between 36 and 40 years old, 5.6 percent above 40 years old.
18 percent from Beijing, 17.9 percent from Guangdong province, 9 percent from Sichuan province, 8.4 percent from Shanghai.
36.8 percent married with one child, 20.1 percent single and living alone.
64.5 percent worked as employees, 7.8 percent worked as full-time housewives or house-husbands.
