In September and October of 2022, there were several crises and current issues that had affected the mental health of young Dutch citizens. Among the selected events, inflation, the housing crisis and the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis were cited by the Dutch youth the most, with over half of respondents saying inflation has affected their mental health. Only 21 percent claimed not to be affected by any of the crises and current issues provided in the survey.
