According to a survey that was conducted in Japan in August 2022, over ** percent of the respondents aged 17 to 19 years had heard and understood that increased use of air conditioners due to rising average temperatures in summer were one reason for difficulties in a stable power supply. Close to ** percent knew and understood that the suspension of nuclear power plants was another reason.
