According to a survey on the impact of COVID-19 on tourism conducted by in July 2022, *** percent of respondents in the Philippines stated that they did not plan to travel abroad this year because of how expensive it is to travel at this point. In addition, ** percent of respondents also stated that it is still too much hassle to travel due to COVID-19 testing, wearing of masks and such.
