Surveyed at the beginning of June 2022, almost **** of the French aged between 25 and 40, living in cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants, mentioned their ambition to own their own home when asked about their main goals. This desire to own a home was more prevalent among younger people: ** percent of 25-29 year olds, ** percent of 30-34 year olds, and less than ** percent among French people between 35 and 40.
