Survey question:
What, if anything, is your employer doing to address shortages in skills/labor?
Among a total of 3,129 survey respondents, around 1,660 people thought that China lacks people with the skills to do their kind of work.
Among all survey respondents, 54 percent were male, 41 percent were female, 5 percent were others;
7 percent were between 18 and 25 years, 46 percent were between 25 and 41 years, 35 percent were between 42 and 57 years, and 11 percent were between 58 and 76 years;
79 percent of respondents did professional/administrative work, 15 percent did skilled manual work, and 6 percent did semi-skilled or unskilled manual work;
97 percent worked full time.
