A June 2022 global survey focused on the intention to take domestic or international vacations in the next 12 months. Overall, Southern Europe had the largest share of people planning to vacation domestically, at ** percent. Meanwhile, Northern Europe had the highest percentage of travelers intending to take an international holiday. In contrast, the Middle East and North Africa reported the lowest intention to take a domestic holiday, while Latin America had the lowest figure in terms of international vacations.
