Approximately 71 percent of respondents of a survey carried out in the Netherlands during 2019 either disagreed or completely disagreed with the statement that their child being taught by a transgender teacher would be a problem for them. In contrast, only nine percent either agreed or completely agreed that that situation would be a problem.
