According to a survey carried out in June 2022, almost a half of respondents in Russia stated that the Russian cinema lacked interesting and captivating storylines. Some ** percent believed that domestic films missed the quality of filming, special effects, and graphics. Overall, 14 percent of Russians found the level of modern Russian cinema to be low.
