Several companies in the United Kingdom (UK) are moving towards zero-emission delivery by adopting electric vehicles. Royal Mail has the largest fleet, with * units. From 2021 to 2030, every new car purchased by the postal service provider will be electric, while supermarket Tesco committed to a more drastic transition. By the same year, its van fleet will be fully electric. Between the two, DHL postponed the deadline for its zero logistics-related emissions, set for 2050. Finally, food delivery company Ocado planned its business activities to reach the target of zero net emissions by 2035.
