Atomenergoprom, a subsidiary of the Russian company Rosatom responsible for uranium mining, produced over *** thousand metric tons of uranium in 2023 at its domestic and international sites. The company's uranium production abroad was operated by a company Uranium One that was fully acquired by Rosatom in 2013. Uranium One produced nearly *** thousand metric tons of uranium in Kazakhstan in 2022. Including Uranium One, Rosatom accounted for ** percent of the global uranium mine production in 2021. Uranium One alone accounted for nine percent of the total in the previous year.
