With the disproportionate increase in the number of refugees in Turkey, the Turkish citizens started to develop negative feelings towards this group of people. More than * out of 4 of the 2022 survey participants stated that they believed refugees caused a higher crime rate and security problems in Turkey. Additionally, ** percent of the people agreed with the statement that refugees disrupted Turkey's population structure and political balance.
