In 2022, the number of foreign guests in tourist hotels in Tel Aviv in Israel amounted to thousand, which was a sevenfold increase compared to the previous year. During most of the observed period, the number of foreign guests gradually increased, while in 2020 a significant downward trend began. This decline occurred due to the introduction of tourism restrictions imposed by the Israeli government following the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in March of that year. This past year, the number of foreign guests in this city has recovered to numbers equal to the number of the guests in 2016.
