A December 2021 survey among adult gamers in the United States found that almost six our of ten respondents aged 18 to 34 years were influenced to download a game if it was an original and exclusive product. This influence was strong among younger age groups but much weaker among those older than 55 years old, as this factor would make little or no difference at all for around 61 percent of them.
