A high share of workers in Norway had to change their lifestyle due to the rising inflation at the end of 2021 and beginning of 2022. Nearly ** percent of the respondents, in a survey conducted by the union Fagforbundet in March 2022, responded that they had changed their way of living to a high or very high degree due to the rising prices. Consumer prices increased in Norway over the winter of 2021/2022 compared to the previous year, among other things due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact of the Russian war in Ukraine.
