Public opinion on sex-selective abortion 2020, by state
According to a survey carried out in 2020 by the Pew Research Centre in India, 89 percent of respondents from Chhattisgarh found it completely unacceptable to get a check-up using modern methods to balance number of girls and boys in the family. On the other hand, only four percent of the public found it completely acceptable.
