In December 2021, ** percent of clinicians surveyed in the Asia Pacific region believed that in ten years' time every individual will have their genome sequenced in order to prevent diseases and illness. On the other hand, only around a third of clinicians in Europe and North America thought genome sequencing would be so widespread by 2031.
