As of 2021, Baihe Jiayuan had dethroned Zhenai to be the most popular dating and matchmaking app in China with **** million daily active users. Baihe and Jiayuan were already the prominent rivals to Zhenai before the two platforms completed their merger in late 2020. Other major domestic competitors – Yidui, Wei'ai, and Duiyuan – followed with a large margin. Apart from Yidui, these dating apps are run by well-established wedding planning companies in China using the same brand names.
