During the fourth quarter of 2022, dating and social discovery apps recorded approximately 19 million downloads from users in the United States, down by around 10 percent compared to the corresponding quarter during the previous year. Despite a fall in overall downloads, downloads of dating and social discovery apps on the Google Play Store reported an increase of eight percent during the last examined quarter, compared to a 17 percent decrease for downloads on the Apple App Store.
