Due to its affordability, chicken and other fowl meat were also important parts of the Chinese diet. Poultry is by far the cheapest meat in China, according to a ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ estimate. The average price of chicken meat in 2024 amounted to approximately U.S. dollars. On the other side, China’s chicken consumption increased due to the notion of healthy eating. China’s poultry market turnover is predicted to exceed ***billion U.S. dollars by 2030, more than double what it was in 2020.
