According to a survey conducted in August 2024, about ** percent of female respondents and *** percent of male respondents in Japan underwent aesthetic medicine procedures such as medical hair removal and cosmetic surgeries within a year. At the same time, around ** percent of women and ** percent of men never received any treatments and were not interested in aesthetic medicine.
