A November 2021 survey of online adults in the Unites States found that ** percent of male respondents and ** percent of female respondents reported a very unfavorable opinion of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. In contrast, * percent of men and * percent of women stated that they had a very favorable opinion of him. In late October, Facebook restructured and rebranded itself as Meta while announcing a strategic shift towards the metaverse, a virtual reality project.
