Digital voice assistants are versatile and can be used with different devices. A 2021 survey carried out in the United States showed that Siri was mostly used on mobile phones (** percent), being the voice assistant service of Apple. Google Assistant was also widely used on smartphones (** percent) in the U.S. On the contrary, ** percent of U.S. survey participants used Amazon Alexa with smart speakers, as Amazon Echo was one of the first smart speaker introduced to the mass public and has a leading market share.
