*Greater Tokyo comprises the prefectures Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, and Kanagawa. Among respondents who were living in a rental property and moved in between April 1, 2020, and March 31, 2021. The respondents were involved in the selection of the above rental property and were not engaged in the survey research or advertising business.
**The survey sample was adjusted in terms of the distribution of age, gender, and marital status using the population census 2015 and the percentage of rental contractors obtained from a screening survey.
