This data shows the breakdown of the asset allocation among global sovereign wealth funds (SWF) across alternative investment securities only. Alternative investment asset allocation accounts for less than one-third of total asset allocation.
The survey results are reflective of a survey group complied of 142 chief investment officers,heads of asset classes, and senior portfolio strategists from 85 sovereign
wealth funds and 57 central banks. Collectively, these institutions manage
approximately US$21 trillion in assets.
