Older people are slightly more in favor of abortion than young people. In a recent global survey, 62 percent of respondents aged 50 to 74 years believed that abortion should be permitted, either in all or some cases. Among respondents surveyed in 27 countries, Sweden and France had the largest population in favor of abortion.
