As of December 2024, the video games publisher Krafton achieved the highest market cap in the South Korean stock exchange market, at around trillion South Korean won. Krafton is a new and fast-rising South Korean games publisher, best known for the popular battle royale game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG). Having only recently filed for a public listing in 2021, they had a strong start on the stock market, beating out traditional large companies within the industry such as NCSoft and Netmarble.
