Taking into account 2021 wind and solar costs, most planned green hydrogen projects will end up with a hydrogen selling price between **** and **** U.S. dollars per kilogram. Although all projects listed aim at hydrogen costs of below three U.S. dollars per kilogram, when looking at capacity factors of electrolyzers and the costs for wind and solar power production, only the Aman project in Mauritania and HNH project in Chile come close. Both are estimated to reach selling prices below *** U.S. dollars per kilogram. Currently, Chile has some of the lowest green hydrogen costs of any country worldwide.
