According to a survey conducted in 2026, around ** percent of respondents in Hong Kong said they had watched news on TVB News channel in the last week. TVB News is a unified brand of news programs launched by the News and Information Division of Hong Kong Television Broadcast Limited in 1967. RTHK, the city's public broadcaster, replaced NOW TV News to be the second most popular traditional media outlet for offline news access.
