Based on an online survey carried out between June and July 2020, ** percent of the African businesses that took part in the study requested working capital from financial institutions during the coronavirus pandemic. Furthermore, some ** percent contacted the financial institutions for asset financing, while ** percent did due to debt recovery delays. Only ** percent approached financial institutions for support of new products.
