The aim of the European ICT surveys is the timely provision of statistics on individuals and households on the use of Information and Communication Technologies at European level. Data coverage corresponds to Dataset [ISOC_BDE15CUA] code [I_IDAY] of the (Information and Communication Technologies) survey from the Eurostat database.

Share of people using the internet daily in the EU-27 2010-2020, by gender
The European questionnaire on Information and Communication Technologies Data reveals that there exists a disparity between the internet usage of people according to gender. This disparity although present in most countries, differs widely in its severity.
By 2020, 80 percent of male internet users in the European Union (EU-27) used the internet daily, among females this share was slightly smaller with 79 percent. Throughout the observed period males were more likely to use the internet daily than women. Since 2010 the share of men and women increased immensely. 23 percent of men used responded that they used the internet more frequently in 2020 then in 2010, similar holds true for women.
