Index values have been calculated by ÌÇÐÄÆÆ½â°æ using the month on month change between closing prices for the first day of the month, with January 1, 2018 serving as the base year (index value = 100).
All of the five largest publicly owned produces of platinum have seen significant growth in their share price over recent years, with each company's share price at least doubling between January 2018 and May 2021. The highest gains were seen by South African mining company Impala Platinum, whose share price increased by nearly *** percent over this time.
