Roughly 100,000 people were pushed into poverty compared to 2021, possibly a remaining effect of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The headcount was, however, forecast to decrease in the coming years. By 2025, **** million Tanzanians are projected to live on a maximum of **** U.S. dollars per day.
