In 2021, 38 percent of respondents from a global survey state that they are either actively researching zero trust or have it on their radar. A zero trust approach in IT (information technologies) is a concept that stipulates that organizations should not trust anything either inside or outside of its perimeters. Instead, any user trying to connect to its systems must be verified before being granted access. This leads to better protection of networks, data, and applications.
