As of August 2018, women in Libya claimed that the lack of security was a major challenge females faced in the labor market. This was argued by ** percent of the surveyed female population. Other key issues faced in employment were cultural difficulties and barriers, as well as the lack of vacancies. Moreover, ** percent of the respondents cited harassment as a significant challenge in Libya's job market.
