In Denmark, the number of vacant positions was at its lowest in the second quarter of 2020 due to the outbreak of COVID-19. However, the number of vacant positions then increased until the second quarter of 2022, when it reached a total of 74,027. However, it fell slightly in the two following quarters after rising inflation rates and economic stagnation. Most of the job openings in Denmark are in the Capital Region of Copenhagen, followed by Region Zealand and Central Denmark. The fewest non-fictious job openings were in Northern Denmark. The highest number of vacant jobs are within the trade and transport industry.
