As of 2020, using electric vehicles such as bikes or cars was considered to be a very useful thing to fight climate change by 17 percent of French respondents, but the broad picture is more encouraging with the agreement rate reaching more than 60 percent. Moreover, the purchase of e-bikes has increased steadily together with the purchase of electric cars.
