As of late 2020 and early 2021, many consumers in the United States adopted new shopping and eating behaviors, as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. For example, Just over half of shoppers stated that they spend less time in store than they used to. Moreover, about half of U.S. consumers claimed that they started spend more money per shopping trip.
